Each boss has a gimmick that can be pretty nasty if you don't take it into consideration and plan around it. With good play - even with off-meta comps - it can be extremely difficult for the AI to make a dent unless all the stars align, outside of certain content/bosses.Įach boss requires planning ahead and thinking about how you're going to fight them. I think I've suffered a total of 2 afflictions in that time - both my own fault. I'm doing my umpteenth no-death run on stream pushing to week 30 without a single accuracy trinket and dunking bosses with completely off-meta comps. If you truly want to find the answer, why not record some of these 'pure RNG no-fun' dungeon runs so people can check out what else might be happening and give proper advice? I can only assume you're NOT having fun because you haven't scaled the knowledge curve just yet and/or are making it easier for AI to punch you in the face with stress nukes and other problems (and don't consider the retreat button). ![]() I'm having fun after a thousand hours for countless reasons that probably don't apply to you. It is RNG that you can control after the initial 5-10 weeks once you begin levelling up skills, acquiring trinkets, and have access to a wider variety of heroes to form suitable comps, but that won't help if you're the type of person who allows quad afflictions and heart-attacks.įun is a relative thing. ![]()
